Musk has described Grok 3 as “scary-smart,” highlighting its advanced reasoning capabilities and ability to generate innovative solutions.
The development of Grok 3 was powered by xAI’s Colossus supercomputer, which utilized 100,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs, providing 200 million GPU-hours for training — ten times more than its predecessor, Grok 2.
This extensive computational power enabled Grok 3 to be trained on synthetic data, enhancing its ability to reflect on errors and achieve logical consistency.
