5 advices to Launch your first Startup
Entrepreneurship is the ability to create, deliver and capture value. Many people have an idea for a new product or business, but almost no one actually launches them.
So how to increase the chances of launching your first startup?
A couple of months ago, I attended the Entrepreneurship Program from QUT University called FUEL. This project-based program applies the design-led process of understanding the problem, generating solutions, and developing/testing prototypes in order to meet the needs of your target customers. This are the 5 key advices that they gave me:
1. We need to adopt the philosohphy of “FLEARN”, learning from failure.
Failure is part of the process and innovation requires us as entrepreneurs to experiment and fail before we succeed.
The Program encouraged us to think on “What Problem were we solving as Entrepreneurs”
For us at The Financial Fox, the problem was:
“Finance Professionals and Recent Graduates want to use new technologies in their work or even get a job using these technologies but they DO NOT know how to get the skills needed”
